BARAMULLA: Militants lobbed a hand grenade towards a security force camp in this north Kashmir district late Monday night, official sources said.
They said the grenade was lobbed towards a security force camp at Delina in Baramulla.
However, the grenade missed the intended target and exploded at a distance without causing any damage.
The sound of the blast was heard in the entire area, they said, adding, “Later, security forces and police conducted the search operation in the area.”
However, the militants had managed to escape under the cover of darkness, they said.
