GREF driver among two held for black-marketing diesel

BHADERWAH, July 10: A GREF driver was among two arrested for black-marketing of diesel from Sungli area, here.
Police sources said that, on specific inputs, police party from Bhaderwah Police Station conducted raid in the shop of Shabir Ahmed, son of Abdul Rashid of Sungli.
During search, police found around 85 liters of diesel, which the GREF driver identified as Kewel Singh, son of Karnal Singh, has kept in the shop for black-marketing.
The diesel has been seized and both the aforesaid accused have been arrested.
A case under Section 3/7 Essential Commodities Act and 409 RPC has been registered at Bhaderwah Police Station and investigation started.
Police party led by SHO Sanjay Manhas made the arrest under the supervision of SP Doda Arif Rishu, ASP Roop Raj Bhaghat and SDPO Jameel Chowdary.
