‘Greatest American Hero’ is due for reboot: Nathan Fillion

LOS ANGELES, Aug 26:  “Castle” actor Nathan Fillion thinks it is time for popular 1980s comedy-drama series “The Greatest American Hero” to get a reboot.
Fillion, 44, said he would like to play either Ralph Hinkley or Booster Gold or another DC comic character Ambush Bug on the reboot, reported Aceshowbiz.
“I think I could take a pretty good crack at Booster Gold,” said the “Firefly” alum at the 2015 Wizard World Comic Con Chicago. “That’s kind of my niche – show-offy, vain. I think I could handle that – not too bright.”
He also offered some alternatives. “I think Ambush Bug. Remember that guy? Little bit off his rocker. You’d never see my face,” Filion said, before adding, “But I think ‘Greatest American Hero’ is due for a reboot.”
Fillion has previously appeared in a big superhero movie, “Guardians of the Galaxy”, where he played a monstrous prison inmate.
He also has had a tie with DC Comics, having voiced Green Lantern in animated Justice League movies like “Doom” and “Justice League: Throne of Atlantis”. (PTI)
