Grameen Dak Sewak Union protests for demands

UDHAMPUR, Mar 11: Continuing their indefinite protest, the members of All India Grameen Dak Sewak Union held a demonstration in support of their long pending demands.
The protesting Union members raised slogans in support of their demands and threatened to further intensify the struggle if their concerns are not addressed by the Government.
Leading the protesters, district president Prshotam Lal said that thousands of union members were facing problems due to anti-employee attitude of Postal Department. He also highlighted the demands, which included; involving the union members in Seventh Pay Commission, better working conditions and no privatization of Postal Department.
The Union leader also appealed the members to remain united and do not fall prey of fake assurances of the management.
Others, who addressed the protesting employees, included Yog Raj, Bal Krishan, Rakesh Kumar, Khem Raj, Girdhari Lal and  Chanchla Devi.
