Grameen Bank holds D-FLAP in Kathua

KATHUA, Mar 9: J&K Grameen Bank, area office, Kathua, in collaboration with NABARD and assistance of branches of district Kathua (B.O. Mahanpur, Mandli, Marta Nagrota and Phinter) organized various D-FLAP i.e. Financial Literacy and Awareness Programme in Demonetisation period on the theme of Public participation in promoting cashless economy.
More than 200 RuPay Debit Cards and Kisan Credit Cards worth Rs 200.00 lakh were issued on spot among participants. About 50 persons including Panch, Sarpanch, Numberdar, men, women and youth participated in each camp.
The main focus of the camp was to aware people about developments in banking sector and latest schemes.
Ramdev Sharma, Area Manager, Kathua, emphasised the thrust on enabling an impactful mindset changes towards cash to cashless economy.
Representatives from Reliance Insurance and Bajaj life also addressed the gathering the importance of their schemes. Branch Managers of concerned branches presented vote of thanks to the guest and participants.
