JAMMU, Jan 20: Ch Shokat Gujjar has appealed Prime Minister Narendra Modi to up-grade the Jammu Airport to International Airport.
In a meeting, Shokat said that it is the demand of the hour as Jammu is called city of temples and people do come from different part of India as well from across the globe to visit Shri Mata Vaishno Devi and with the introduction of train to Katra Jammu city is the worst effected in term of business and the up-gradation of Jammu Airport to International standard will fill the vacuum especially to the Jammu city which is affected in all terms.
Others present in the meeting were Rafi chowdhary, M L Mograto, Mohd Asharaf and Michael Gill.
