Govt urged to release grants under RMSA, NPS

JAMMU, Mar 17: J&K Teachers Welfare Association has urged the Finance Minister Haseeb Drabu and Education Minister Nayeem Akhter to release the grants for teachers/masters working under NPS, ReTs/ RMSA schemes immediately.
In a statement, the Association president Jasmeet Singh Madaan said that teachers and masters working under these schemes are reeling under acute financial crisis as they have not got salary from the last 5-7 months.
With the coming of new Govt in the State teachers and masters working under these schemes have a sigh of relief and hoped that the newly incumbent Finance Minister will come to their rescue and release the grants of salary under NPS/ReTs/ RMSA schemes immediately without any further delay, he added.
Mr Jasmeet also urged the Govt to evolve a concrete strategy so that their salary system be smoothened and they do not have to wait for months together for their salaries in this sky-rocketing prices time.
