JAMMU, July 27: Rainawari Kashmiri Pandit Action Committee (RKPAC) in a meeting here, today has once again sought the Government’s intervention in stopping mass encroachment, usurpation of KP (Hindu ) temple properties in Kashmir Valley in general and Rainawari Hindu temples and shrines in particular.
They said the latest example of encroachment is of the Jogewshwari Mandir Trust of Ghat Jogilankar, Rainawari as some unauthorized persons have trespassed and encroached upon its immovable property at Gopi Tirath, Nishat Srinagar. The meeting said that the modus operandi adopted by the land grabbers and tress passers is that they in connivance with the local authorities manage the execution of the sale deeds or agreements to sell without verification of the genuine sellers and owners.
The Committee appeals the Government as well as the judicial authorities in the State that no sale deed or agreement for KP properties should be executed unless a publication for the same is made in Jammu and Delhi.
