KARGIL, Mar 5: In order to boost the tourism sector in the Union Territory of Ladakh by using the best talents, skills and expertise available in the society, the Department of Tourism Ladakh has decided to take the services of the Experts/Non Government Organizations (NGOs) in advisory role in different categories like Adventure Tourism, Eco Tourism, Cultural Heritage, Home Stay, Conservation, Wildlife, Urban Planning and Publicity.
The nominated Experts/ NGOs in their respective specialized field shall advise and suggest the Department of Tourism Ladakh about the new initiatives and innovative ideas needed to be taken into account for immediate action for betterment of the tourism sector in Ladakh UT.
In this connection, the general public has been informed that any interested Expert/NGO from both the districts of UT Ladakh who would like to be part of the Advisory Panel may submit their name/details of organization in the office of the Commissioner/ Secretary Tourism and Culture Ladakh so that the Advisory Panel in the Tourism Department UT Ladakh shall be constituted at the earliest.
