JAMMU, Feb 20: Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Mir Saifullah today informed the House that Government will look into the issues of people of border people who have suffered loss due to border shelling at different places in Jammu division after assessing the ground situation and appropriate decision on the compensation will be taken shortly.
On the issue of dharna by the Safai Karamcharies in Jammu city in connection with their demands, the Minister said that Government will take appropriate steps to address their problems and persuade them to end their strike.
The Minister was responding to the points raised by Ashwani Sharma, S. S. Slathia and Aijaz Ahmad Jan in Legislative Assembly immediately after the Question Hour.
