JAMMU, May 6: Higher Education Department today ordered termination of services of an Assistant Professor of Bio Chemistry for her continuous unauthorized absence for more than five years.
The said Assistant Professor, namely Hina Iqbal, had remained un-authorizedly absent from her legitimate duties with effect from May 15, 2011.
“Keeping in view the continuous absence of more than five years, Hina Iqbal, Assistant Professor (Bio-Chemistry) is hereby terminated from her service in the Higher Education Department from the date the said employee remained un-authorizedly absent from her legitimate duties viz 15-05-2011, in terms of Article 113 and 128 of J&K Civil Services Regulations 1956,” read the order, issued today by Principal Secretary Rohit Kansal.
Hina Iqbal was appointed as Lecturer (Bio-Science) and subsequently posted in GCW Srinagar where she joined on -2-08-1999.
