JAMMU, June 9: A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Government Teachers Forum, led by chairman Amar Nath Thakur, State president Satish Dutta and State general secretary Parveen Singh, called on Anuradha Gupta, Director School Education Jammu and discussed the issues which had already been taken up earlier with her.
The delegation demanded transparent and rational transfer of Master, Headmaster, Lecturers as per transfer policy of Education Department, conversion of SSA Head teachers into State non plan scheme and clearing their liability, structuring of clerical staff, reminder to all CEOs for submitting the vacancy position of lectures after 01/01/2018 and Headmaster since 2011, special consideration for those who have completed their tenure and having maximum stay in far fur long areas during the exercise of transfer.
The Director assured the delegation that the matter of Head teachers salary will be solved within days and other issues raised by forum will be taken into consideration for the betterment of teaching community.
Those who were part of the delegation, included Parveen Singh, Rajiv Sharma, Kewal Kumar, Gopal Das, Doulat Ram, Ashwani Kumar, Ved Parkash, Jagdish Kumar Rafiq Ahmed, Darshan Lal and others.
