SRINAGAR: A Government High School was damaged due to fire on Wednesday in south Kashmir district of Kulgam.
Official sources said the fire broke out in a government school at Wadoo at Kulgam in the wee hours of Wednesday.
“Before the fire was doused off, the school was partly damaged,” they added.
They said science laboratory and mid-day meal store were completely damaged in the fire.
The caretaker of the school said that the cause of the fire was short circuit. However, police has registered a case and initiated investigation into the incident.
