JAMMU, Mar 9:  Exposing the character of the BJP involved in the covert treason and perfidy against the faith of the people of Jammu Pradesh and Hindus in particular, Harsh Dev Singh, Chairman JKNPP, in a sensational revelation during a press conference in Jammu today accused the BJP for being hand in glove with PDP in categorically rejecting the construction of the Government of India funded Highway along the holy cave of Amarnath Ji shrine in Kashmir.
He made an appalling disclosure on the basis of information sought through the 10 point RTI application filed by him recently.
Referring to the reply of Public Works (R&B) Department, Government of J&K No: PW(R&B)/Adm/RTI/04/ 2016, in response to his RTI application, Harsh Dev Singh disclosed that the Government of India had sanctioned 8 new Highways to J&K State assuring 100 percent funding for all of them. He said that out of these projects Highway No. 501 was announced by the GoI along the holy cave of Amarnath Ji shrine measuring 105 km in length linking Baltal-Panchtarni- Chandanwari-Pahalgam-Batakut-Martand-Khanabal in Kashmir.
Expressing shock over the reply of the department to his question asking whether the State Government had refused the permission of the aforesaid Highway, he divulged that the State PWD admitted its refusal for construction and  conveying NOC to MoRTH for declaration of said road as National Highway citing environmental reasons.
Dubbing the reply as absurd and abominable, Singh wondered that how could the State Government fail to object to the construction of the other Highways in Kashmir with similar topography, terrain and climate conditions.
Lambasting the BJP for changing colours like chameleon, he said that the Saffron Brigade which once claimed to be ‘messiah’ of the “Hindus” had now treacherously succumbed to the dictates of the separatist forces and clandestinely endorsed the refusal of the construction of Amarnath Ji Highway in Kashmir.
He said that nationalist people shall not relent unless the State Government gave a nod to the construction of the pious Highway and warned the Saffron flavoured BJP-PDP combine of a colossal agitation more aggressive than the Amarnath land row if it continued to stake the sanctioned project to appease the anti-nationals, subversives and the Pak backed separatist leaders in the valley.
Present in the press conference were Yash Paul Kundal, State president Young Panthers, Gagan Pratap, general secretary Young Panthers and Parshotam Parihar State Secretary PTU.
