Govt ration depot owner booked for selling flour illegally

JAMMU, Sept 26: Parade police today booked a Government ration depot owner, for illegally selling flour meant for public distribution to private person illegally.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Parade Police Post conducted raid at a Government ration depot at Purani Mandi and arrested the depot owner, who was illegally selling 27 bags of flour (10 kg each) to a private person.
The depot owner identified as Nishant Dogra, son of Romesh Chander of Katra has been arrested.
A case under FIR number 170/13 and under Section 3/7 ECA Act, 409 RPC has been registered and investigation started.
