JAMMU, Sept 19: The Mechanical Engineering Depar-tment of Government Polytechnic Bikram Chowk Jammu today organized one day extension lecture on Start-ups and Innovations.
Er Tirlok Singh, Innovator and guest speaker from Chandigarh, shared his experiences and problems that incurred while setting up his own startup and encouraged the students to start their own small enterprises. Interactive sessions were held where students cleared the doubts on new start ups and innovations.
Later, Trilok Singh displayed his modified motor bike which was a centre of attraction for students.
Er Arun Bangotra, Principal of the institute, highlighted relevance of the topic and importance of such workshops in upgrading the knowledge on recent trends in Science & Technology.
The program was organized by Er Khalid Sheikh Incharge NSS. Others present in the workshop, included K S Bhatia, HoD Mechanical Engineering, Sanam Gupta, Mohd Shabir, Shorab Gupta, other officials, staff and students of the institute.
