JAMMU, Aug 6: The State BJP spokesperson and senior Advocate Sunil Sethi has blamed the State Government for having no recruitment policy for unemployed youth of J&K.
In a statement issued here today he pointed out that despite the fact that thousands of youths in the State are getting professional degrees and diplomas every year there is no concrete policy from the State Government for their absorption in the Government sector or private sector and as such large army of unemployed youth is being created by the inaction of the Government every year. The Government is not justified in opening large number of new professional institutions and allows the private players to open colleges without first framing the policy for absorbing the large number of students, who passed out from these institutes, he added.
The State Government has even failed to implement the beneficial Central Government schemes for the welfare of unemployed youth purely for political reasons. He further said that there is no justification with the Government in keeping blocked the available vacancies of dental surgeons which should be immediately advertised and the unemployed dental surgeons should be immediately absorbed. In addition taking up the creation of more posts of dental surgeons under the Centrally sponsored schemes, he emphasized that similar recruitment policy decisions are required to be taken for all fields to ensure that professional courses at least job oriented in public and private sector both so that the youths after getting professional degrees do not put themselves in desperation and frustration so that youth energy is properly utilized.
Sunil Sethi further expressed that non seriousness of the Government in inviting the investment from outside the State of J&K by creating conducive atmosphere for industrialization and policy of the Government in favour of outside investors, the private sector in the State J&K particularly in Jammu is suffering badly where there is lot of scope for massive industrialization for creating new avenues and prospectus for employment to the educated youth of the State.
Sethi visited the agitated dental surgeons at Amphalla, Jammu where relay hunger strike is continuing for the last number of weeks and unemployed dental surgeons are seeking their absorption for which the Government has failed to take any effective steps for the last six years. He assured agitated unemployed Dental Surgeons that he will take up the matter with the concerned authorities so that their sufferings are mitigated.
