JAMMU, Apr 27: Jal Shakti Department has constituted a high-level committee for the finalization of specifications, procurement, and implementation of water meters for commercial establishments and institutions across the Union Territory.
The committee, headed by Director Finance, Jal Shakti Department as the Chairman, comprises Director Planning, Jal Shakti Department; Superintending Engineer, UEED, Srinagar; Superintending Engineer, Hyd Circle Srinagar; Superintending Engineer, Mech Urban Circle Jammu and Executive Engineer, QC&PD, Srinagar as the Members
The committee has been tasked with the responsibilities to evaluate, recommend, and finalize specifications of water meters. It will determine the method of procurement and finalize quantities required.
