JAMMU, Sept 28: The Higher Education Department today ordered transfers and postings of 11 Principals of Government Degree Colleges besides placing five Associate Professors as In-charge Principals in their own pay and grade.
Prof Nasreen Aman has been transferred from GDC Bemina to GCW MA Road Srinagar, Prof Manzoor Ahmad Lone from GDC Anantnag to GDC Bemina and Prof Muzaffar Ahmad Bhat from GDC Awantipora to GDC Anantnag.
Prof Zahida Naseem, who was attached with Director Colleges Office, has been transferred and posted as Principal GDC Awantipora while Prof Afshana Mehjoo has been transferred from GDC Allochi Bagh Srinagar to GDC Chatisinghpora, Anantnag, Prof Salma Ahad from GDC Magam to GDC Sopore, Prof G S Rakwal from GDC R S Pura to Government MAM College Jammu, Prof Sunil Uppal from Government MAM College Jammu to GDC R S Pura, Prof Attar Singh from GDC Nagrota to GDC Doda, Prof Shafqat Hussain Rafiqui from GDC Doda to GDC Chatroo and Prof Hans Raj from GDC Khour to GDC Kunjwani.
Besides these transfers and postings, Assistant Professors Prof Rama Badyal (UOG), Prof Nalini Pathani (GDC Sidhra), Prof Mohd Hussain Malik (GDC Bemina), Prof Mushtaq Ahmad Wani (GDC Nawakdal) and Prof Nighat Nasreen (GCW MA Road Srinagar) have been placed as In-charge Principals of GDC Khour, GDC Nagrota, GDC Magam, GDC Tulail and GDC Allochi Bagh, Srinagar, respectively.
