JAMMU, Aug 23: Following the Cabinet decision on re-organization and restructuring of the Institution of Settlement, the Government today accorded formal sanction for re-designating the posts.
According to an order, issued by GAD, Settlement Commissioner is re-designated as Commissioner Survey and Land Records.
Similarly, Joint Settlement Commissioner, Director Land Records and Settlement Officers are re-designated as Joint Agrarian Reforms Commissioner, Regional Director, Survey and Land Records, respectively.
