JAMMU, May 16: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir today notified 137 services of three different departments under the J&K Public Services Guarantee Act.
Statutory Order 266 was issued in this regard, according to which 16 services of the Mining Department, 36 of Finance Department (Excise) and 84 of the Power Development Department have been included in the Public Services Guarantee Act 2011.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4, read with section 8 of the J&K Public Services Guarantee Act 2011 (Act No. IX) of 2011), the Government has notified these services, timelines and the Designated Officers/ Appellate Authorities.
Total 84 services of PDD, including New Connections, Change of Name, Change of Ownership, Change of Category and Approval of installation of DG Setups have been notified under PSGA.
Similarly, 36 services of Finance Department (Excise) and 16 services of the Mining Department have been notified under PSGA.
The notified services of Mining Department include Grant of Mining Lease, Grant of Quarry License, Grant of STP/DP and Grant of Mineral Dealer License. Timeline of five to 10 days has been stipulated for providing the Mining Department services.

The Excise services, notified under PSGA, include permission for IP Based Bulk Spirit (10 days), import permit Based Bulk Spireit (4 days), Import Permit for Packaged Liquor (4 days), Brand Registration (15 days) Label Registration (15 days), Revalidation of IP Based permits (10 days), Excise verification certificate, Renewal of various types of Excise licenses (25 days), GPS mapping of State Excise Establishments/locations ( 4 days); Revalidation of IP based permits-CSD/PMF (G2B), 10 days; Cancellation of IP based permits-CSD/PMF (G2B), 10 days; Transport Permit cum pass for packaged Liquor (wholesaler to trade) (G2B), 4 days; Transport Permit cum pass for packaged Liquor (manufacture to trade) (G2B), 4 days; Transport Permit cum pass for packaged Liquor (trade to retailer) (G2B), 4 days; Transport Permit cum pass for packaged Liquor (manufacture to trade to retailer) (Bar) (G2B), 4 days; Transport Permit cum pass for packaged Liquor (manufacture to CSD/MPF-JKEL5 to trade) (G2B), 4 days; Salesman Approval-Approval of Salesman (G2C), 10 days; Barman Approval, Approval of Barman (G2C), 10 days; Transport of Bulk Spirit within State (G2B), 7 days; Bar Stock Management system (G2B), 4 days; Cancellation of export Pass based Permits (G2B), 10 days; are also among the Excise services included under PSGA, etc.
