UDHAMPUR, Feb 17: Government Girl Middle School, Chowki in Zone Ghordi of Ramnagar Tehsil is being run in an unsafe building, which has developed many cracks.
Moreover, there is no adequate teaching staff as well as sitting arrangement for the students in the school, which has no boundary wall.
Aggrieved over the dilapidated condition of the school and non-availability of adequate teaching staff, the students of this Middle School voiced their strong resentment against the School Education Department and the District administration.
Demanding adequate teaching staff and repair of the school building, the students said that there are only four teachers for eight classes in the school, which has students’ strength of 92. These included 36 boys and 56 girl students.
In the Ghordi block, Government Primary School Mahni is being run in the building without roof with the result, students are forced to study in open. Teaching without a proper building for 15 years, we appeal the government to make building at the earliest, said teacher Kuldeep Singh.
