JAMMU, June 25: National Conference (NC) today said that Government has totally failed on all fronts in the State and is jeopardizing system of Board meetings.
“This concept was conceived by Sher-i-Kashmir, late Sheikh Mohd Abdullah during his Chief Ministership to decentralize the powers to the District level and down to block level and Panchayats  but it seems that North and South Pole coalition Government is determined to destabilize the single line administration system while holding meeting of two districts at one place”, the senior NC leader, State vice-president, Mushtaq Ahmed Bukhari  said while addressing a press conference, here today. He added this is totally eye wash, as nothing has come out of these meetings.
Rachpal Singh, former MLA who was also present, charged the coalition Government saying that these Boards meeting are big fraud with the people of the district Poonch and district Rajouri as no new schemes have been incorporated in the meetings rather schemes launched by Omar Abdullah Government are being closed and are starving for funds.
Ajaz Jan, former MLA of Poonch, while addressing the press, leveled serious charges against the present coalition Government. He said that 24,000 bags of cement has been looted by the PDP leaders in district Poonch in two months and not a single bag has been utilized on the ground. Referring to the Board meeting held at District Rajouri yesterday, Jan said that the Government is befooling the people by announcing some amount for various schemes which have been started by the NC Government regime but no funds are being provided for these.
Rattan Lal Gupta, State vice-president, Sheikh Bashir Ahmed, provincial secretary, Pardeep Bali, Anil Dhar, Farooq Mughal and Kanwar Yashvardan were also present.
