JAMMU, Apr 24: BJP Migrant Cell in its meeting here today accused the Government of its failure in settling the problems of migrants.
The Cell president Bhatrat Bushan Bhat (Gosani) said it is unfortunate that the Government till date has settled the power problem of Jagti camp and the hapless inmates of the camp are forced to pay exorbitant electric charges which they are unable to afford being totally dependent on cash doles from Government.
The meeting said that Government is making wasteful expenditure of crores of rupees but it is not ready to bear the power tariff of the migrants.
The meeting also strongly condemned the recent statement of Union Home Minister, Sushil Kumar Shinde against the Pandits and sought an unconditional apology from him.
