JAMMU, Sept 4: The Government today constituted a 7- member State Level Census Coordination Committee for the successful conduct and timely completion of Decennial Population Census-2021.
The Chief Secretary will be the chairman of the Committee while Director Census Operations, convener. Five other members of the committee are -Principal Secretary to Government, Housing and Urban Development Department; Principal Secretary to Govt, Planning, Development and Monitoring Department; Commissioner/ Secretary to Govt, School Education Department; Secretary to Govt, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department and Secretary to Govt, Revenue Department.
This Census Committee shall coordinate the successful conduct and timely completion of Census Operation- 2021 in J&K.
