Govt forms committee for restructuring of JKEDI

JAMMU, Apr 21: Government of Jammu and Kashmir today constituted a committee for restructuring of the J&K Entrepreneurship Development Institute.
Headed by Principal Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department, the committee shall revisit the Vision Document 2030 and involvement of the Institute in Non-Banking Financial Business and Lending Business.
It shall suggest measures for release of Grant-in-Aid and frame guidelines regarding utilization of funds on account of repayment under YSLS (Youth Startup Loan Scheme). It shall also frame a revised salary structure and promotion norms and examine the Audit Report of the Institute for further necessary action.
Commissioner Secretary Labour and Employment Department; Director, Skill Development Department; Director JKEDI; representative from Finance Department and subject experts from JKEDI are members of the committee.
