Govt fixes rates of sacrificial animals in Valley

Srinagar, June 27: Ahead of Eid-ul-Adha, the authorities today fixed the rates of sacrificial livestock in Kashmir.
In this regard, an order was issued here by Director Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) Kashmir, as per which the rates for Delhi Walla and Merino Cross varieties of Sheep have been fixed at Rs 310 per kg.
The rates for those of Bakerwal and Kashmiri varieties have been set as Rs 295 a kg. The rate for goats has been set as Rs 285 per kg.
