BHADERWAH, May 26: Senior Congress leader, former Minister and Ex-MLA, Mohammad Sharief Niaz today said that PDP-BJP coalition Government in the State has failed on all fronts.
Addressing a huge protest rally here today, Niaz alleged that Government has proposed to reduce 100 bedded hospital to 50 beds in Gondoh and has cancelled the construction of residential quarters for Doctors in Bhaderwah which is a matter of deep concern. He said that this disparity will not be tolerated and Congress will protest against such decision.
Niaz said that Bhallessa Bhaderwah being a remote area of State needs attention in medical facilities but on the contrary present Government is reducing also the facilities which were provided by previous Government. He further alleged that doctors have been transferred from Bhallessa and Bhaderwah leaving hospitals without doctors.
“Furthermore, Government has failed to check inflation and public is facing hardship due to everyday price hike in all goods due to increase of price in fuel. Not only price rise has brought miseries to general public but ever since PDP-BJP has formed Government most of the employees of all departments have not been paid salaries”, he said.
The senior Congress leader said that MGNREGA which gave job guarantee to all has been diluted and contractors are not being paid their dues creating a great chaos. He said that there is acute shortage of education staff in all schools of Bhaderwah assembly which needs to be addressed at an earliest so that education of students doesn’t get effected.
He lambasted both PDP and BJP for compromising with the fundamental principles of their parties on AFSPA, Article 370 and various other issues for the lust of power. He said that Government has forgotten the issue of Kashmiri Pandit rehabilitation.
