JAMMU, Aug 30: The Government today constituted Union Territory Level Apex Committee (UTLAC) for framing a comprehensive Agriculture Policy for holistic development of Agriculture and allied sectors in UT of J&K with former D G ICAR, Dr Mangla Rai as its Chairman.
Dr Ashok Dalwai, Chief Executive Officer, National Rainfed Area Authority, GoI, Atal Dulloo, Financial, Commissioner, (Additional Chief Secretary), Agriculture Production Department, Dr P K Joshi, Secretary, National Academy of Agriculture Sciences, Pusa New Delhi, Dr Prabhat Kumar, Horticulture Commissioner, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department, Dr H S Gupta, former Director IARI and Dr J P Sharma, Vice Chancellor , SKUAST , Jammu as its members.Dr Nazir Ahmed Ganai, Vice Chancellor SKUAST, Kashmir was appointed as the Member Secretary of the Committee. An order to this effect was issued by the General Administrative Department (GAD) here, today.
