JAMMU, Mar 4: For ensuring effective implementation of Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Scheme in Jammu and Kashmir, the Government has constituted a State Level Task Force.
Headed by the Chief Secretary as chairman, the ten-member Task Force will comprise of Administrative Secretaries of Health & Medical Education, Social Welfare, RDD & Panchayati Raj, Director Composite Regional Centre (Disability Srinagar, Mission Director ICDS Jammu, Managing Director of Women’s Development Corporation Jammu, Mission Director National Mission for Empowerment of Women and Secretary State Legal Service Authority, Jammu,
The Task Force will monitor and supervise the implementation of the scheme to attain the objectives of the scheme in the State besides providing guidance and technical support to the implementing agencies. It will review the progress of District Action Plan and coordinate the implementation of the scheme.
