Govt committed to inclusive development of all regions: Altaf

KANGAN, Nov 26: Saying that Coalition Government’s endeavour is inclusive development of all three regions of State with extra focus on far flung and remote areas of the State, the Minister for Forest, Environment and Ecology, Mian Altaf Ahmad said that providing of basic amenities  including road connectivity to hitherto uncovered areas has been prioritized by the present Coalition Government.
The Minister was addressing a gathering after declaring Mamar-Kachpathri road open for the public constructed at a cost of Rs 7.98 crore under PMGSY scheme which will connect large populace of Kachpatheri and other vicinities.
Mian Altaf said that providing basic amenities including adequate drinking water, electricity, education, better healthcare, ration and other facilities is among prime jobs and responsibilities of Government and every possible effort is being put in by the Government in this regard.
The Minister asked people to come forward and play active role in day to day governance of the State, adding that strengthening of democratic setup is essential for well being of people and all-round development of State.
