Govt committed to development of remote areas: Aijaz

SANGALDAN, Nov 18 : Minister of State for Revenue and Relief, Aijaz Ahmed Khan today said that UPA Government is committed to overall development of remote areas and weaker sections of the society.
Addressing a public gathering at Suranda Sangaldan, Aijaz announced an ambulance for PHC Suranda Sangaldan.  He assured the people that the fencing of Eidgah, and foot bridge will be constructed soon.
Minister said that the Government has launched various developmental and social welfare schemes for the upliftment of   women, children old age and weaker sections of the society.
Aijaz directed the ZEO Gool to ensure education mapping. AEE PHE was directed to restore the water supply in area. He also directed the Tehsildar Gool to provide the certificate to those villages having population more than hundred for road connectivity projects under PMGSY.
Earlier, people apprised the Minister of their demands  which include opening of new polytechnic college in Sangaldan, formation of new ration cards in the area, more roads under PMGSY, doubling of road from Ramban to Gool, park to be made in Sangaldan area, upgradation of middle schools to high schools, more JK Bank branches, more health centres and ambulance for the area.
