According to the Government order issued today by the Health and Medical Education Department, the decision was taken after the Department reviewed a large number of orders concerning doctors, non-gazetted staff, paramedical employees, Class-IV workers and other personnel.
The order stated that the present Director Health Services Jammu had submitted details of the transfers and attachments issued during the period, following which the matter was examined by the Government.
“In the interest of administration and patient care,” all such orders have been rescinded ab initio with immediate effect, the order said. The Government further directed that all affected employees shall continue to work at their previous places of posting as they existed before issuance of the cancelled orders.
It also warned that any non-compliance by officers or officials would be viewed seriously and disciplinary action initiated against the concerned employees. The Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) have also been made responsible for ensuring implementation of the order.
Further, the Director Health Services, Jammu, has been directed to ensure strict implementation of the Government order and submit a detailed compliance report to the Administrative Department within three days positively.
