JAMMU, May 22: Government today ordered cancellation of appointment of six newly recruited Junior Assistants in the J&K Secretariat (Subordinate) Service, who failed to report their duties in stipulated time frame.
An order in this regard was issued by General Administration Department (GAD) here today.
The order said that despite repeated notices, six officials failed to join their respective duties and respond to the notices forcing the Government to cancel their appointment orders.
The officials whose appointment orders have been cancelled include Ishrat Hussain Thoker of Jerpora Gudroo, Pulwama, Kavita Devi of Domana, Javeed Ahmad Shah of Makanpora Danow Bogund, Kulgam, Suresh Kumar of village Pathwal, Hiranagar, district Kathua, Nirmala Devi of Chaprial, Pallanwala, tehsil Akhnoor and Narian Dass of block Pancheri, district Udhampur.
However, sanction has been accorded to four candidates as Junior Assistants in the J&K Secretariat (Subordinate) Service.
The candidates are Mohammad Iftikhar Ali Bhat of Pamposh Colony, Main Stop Janipur, Sayima Jan of Haka Bazaar, Badamwari Hawal, Wasim Fayaz of Patipora Balla, Chattabal, Srinagar and Naveen Kumar of Muchllian, Nagbani, Domana.
These candidates have been directed to report to the Additional Secretary, GAD (Establishment) within a period of 15 days.
