JAMMU, Apr 19: To ease the problems of the Kashmiri migrants who have not been given the ration coupons till date, the Government has issued the directives to the CAPD Department to issue the ration for the April month on last year slips.
This was informed by Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, R K Pandita today. He said a decision to this effect was taken by Minister of Relief, Law and Parliamentary Affairs Bhasharat Bukhari yesterday.
He said all the CAPD depots supplying ration to migrant relief holders have been asked to ensure the supply of ration to all relief holders on the basis of last year slips without further delay.
He said the decision was taken in order to avert the problems of the migrants being faced by them due to delay in supply of ration till date.
