JAMMU, June 9: The Jammu and Kashmir Government today appointed three officers of the J&K Prosecution Service to new roles for conducting criminal cases under Section 18 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
As per an order issued by the Home Department, Sheikh Tanveer Rasool, CPO has been posted as Public Prosecutor in the Principal Sessions Court, Kupwara, Syed Jehangir Ahmad, CPO has been appointed Public Prosecutor in the Principal Sessions Court, Ganderbal and Shafat Ahmad Bhat, CPO has been appointed as Additional Public Prosecutor at NIA/Additional Sessions Court, Ganderbal.
