Govt allots deptts to Law Officers

JAMMU, Sept 16: Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs today allotted departments to the Law Officers in supersession of all the previous orders.
As per the order issued by Abdul Majid Bhat, Secretary to Government, Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Senior Additional Advocate General S S Nanda will look after the litigation work of Housing and Urban Development Department, Jammu Municipal Corporation and Estates Department.
Seema Shekher Khajuria, Senior Additional Advocate General will look after General Administration, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution and Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Departments.
Additional Advocate General Ravinder Gupta has been allotted School Education and ARI and Trainings Departments while as Additional Advocate General Wasim Sadiq Nargal will look after Home Department and J&K Cable Car Corporation.
Additional Advocate General, Rohit Kapoor has been allotted Health and Medical Education, Power Development, Floriculture Departments and Jammu Development Authority while as Additional Advocate General Lalit Kumar Moza will look after Agriculture Production, Higher Education, Youth Services and Sports and Technical Education Departments. Additional Advocate General Rakesh Khajuria has been allotted Rural Development, Horticulture and Industries and Commerce Departments.
Deputy Advocate General Ehsan Mirza will look after Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Custodian and Hospitality and Protocol Departments while as DyAG Ranjit Singh Jamwal has been allotted PHE, I&FC and Cooperative Departments. Faraz Iqbal, Deputy AG will look after Roads and Buildings Department, Vigilance Organization, ERA, JKPCC and PMGSY.
Vishal Bharti, Deputy AG will look after Social Welfare Department and Services Selection Board while as Government Advocate Sanjeev Padha has been given the litigation work of Animal and Sheep Husbandry, Science and Technology, Information Technology and Culture Departments. Mehvish Shah has been given the litigation work of Fisheries, Parks and Gardens, Information Departments, Women Development Corporation and Transport including SRTC.
The departments and Corporations including JKPDC and JKTDC that have not been assigned to any Law Officer will remain with Advocate General, reads the order.
