Govt accepts resignation of 5 MOs, suspends one for non-compliance

JAMMU, Apr 9: Government of J&K has accepted resignation of three Medical Officers (MOs), suspended one for non-compliance of its order and terminate probation of another MO and also discharged him from J&K Health & Family Welfare (Gazetted) Service.
According to an order issued by Financial Commissioner, Health and Medical Education Department, Atal Dulloo, resignations of Dr Manisha Bhagat (MO appointed vide Government order No 335-HME of 2010 dated 17-06-2010), Dr Khalid Mehmood (MO appointed vide Government order NO 592-HME of 2011 dated 28-10-2011) and Dr Priya Thappa (MO appointed vide Government order No 639-HME of 2016 dated 09-12-2016) have been accepted and their services terminated. The 3 MOs have resigned on 21-04-2017, 28-05-2019 and 13-06-2019 respectively.
As per another order, resignations of Dr Anuj Kapoor (MO appointed vide order No 333-HME of 2018 dated 29-05-2018) and Dr Chetan Sharma (MO appointed vide order No 333-HME of 2018 dated 29-05-2018), who have resigned from their services on 07-01-2019 and 13-06-2019, respectively have been accepted and their services terminated.
Government has also terminated probation of Dr Shakeel Ahmad Rather (MO) who failed to joint at his place of posting, DH Kulgam, thereby resorting to un-authorized absence. Subsequently, he was discharged from J&K Health & Family Welfare (Gazetted) Service.
Besides, Dr Chander Rashmi Gupta (MO) who failed to join her new place of posting, DH Samba despite lapse of over two months time, has been placed under suspension with immediate effect, pending enquiry. During suspension period, she will remain attached with the office of Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Samba.
Moreover, Director Health Services Jammu has been asked to conduct a formal enquiry against Dr Chander Rashmi Gupta for non-compliance of Government order and submit the report to Administrative Department within 10 days positively.
