JAMMU, Nov 10: The Governor’s Secretariat in the Raj Bhavan here, commenced functioning today. The Secretariat had closed at Srinagar on 31st October 2014.
N N Vohra, Governor, went around the various wings of the Raj Bhavan Secretariat and directed the officers and staff to ensure visible cleanliness, prompt disposal of all references, methodical record keeping and satisfactory maintenance of the entire Raj Bhavan estate. During inspection of the Raj Bhavan lawns and gardens, he directed their proper maintenance.
The Governor inspected the Solar Power Plant installed at the Raj Bhavan and took stock of its functioning. He also went around the CRPF and J&K Police Camps in the Raj Bhavan.
Rakesh K.Gupta, Principal Secretary to the Governor and other officials accompanied the Governor during his rounds of the offices, gardens, Security Camp and other parts of the Raj Bhavan estate.
