JAMMU, Apr 9: N.N. Vohra, Governor, released Harpreet Sandhu’s book “German-Indian Laws-A Comparative Study” at a function held at the Raj Bhavan today.
The author, who is a practicing lawyer and former Additional Advocate General, Punjab, has written this volume based on his studies and experience gained during his visits to various German courts. This book includes a comprehensive coverage of the German legal system and chapters on German Criminal Procedure, The German Civil Code, and Laws relating to Indo- German Business.
The Governor complimented the author for undertaking a comparative study of the legal system in the two countries and hoped that the book would benefit all those who are interested in this area of legal knowledge. He wished Mr. Sandhu continuing success.
