UDHAMPUR, Jan 6: Shri Kali Mata Gou Sewa Samiti has appealed the people of district Udhampur for generous and liberal donations in cash or kind to ensure speedy accomplishment of work on proposed construction of four-storey permanent structure at Thill-Round Domail.
The appeal was made during a largely attended meeting of people from Thill, Roun, Rathian, Sataini, Keri etc. A number of Panchs, Sarpanchs and prominent people also attended the meeting wherein working president of the Samiti, Ashok Padha threw light on the activities of the organization.
The meet also urged the Police authorities to ensure a check on bovine smuggling and asked the Revenue authorities for removal of encroachments.
The meet also resolved to constitute Gou Raksha Samities in every village for keeping a check on bovine smuggling.
The meeting was attended by Raghuvir Chander, Som Nath Sharma, Dr U K Sharma, Suresh Verma S S Jamwal and others.
