Good show by players on Day-2 of Wushu C’ship

JAMMU, Dec 20: Vying for the top honours, players displayed extraordinary skills on day-2 of the 63rd National School Games in the discipline of Wushu under-19 and under-17 years boys and girls, being organized by the Directorate of Youth Services and Sports at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here today.
In pre-quarterfinals, 40 Kg, Akash of Delhi beat M Amam Posh of J&K, Hariom Vicky of Vidhya Bharti defeated Gayakwad Ajay of Teleangana, Aniruidh Choudhary of UP got the better of Adaoharuwary of Assam, Mayank Chouhan of MP prevailed over Sarueshu Harmalik of Goa, Ravi  of Punjab outplayed Vaghri of  Gujrat and Nitish of CBSE trounced Harshal Rajesh of Maharashtra.
In 45 Kg category, Ankit Laghuwanshi of MP beat Satyam Kumar of Bihar. In pre-quarterfinals Under-19 boys 40 Kg Category, Jayraj Singh of Maharashtra outclassed Deepak of  Vidhya Bharti, Anoj of Bihar thrashed Rattwa of Gujrat, Nasib  Khan of Punjab beat Shubham of Delhi and Ayush Raj of Jharkhand drubbed Balram Singh of MP, while in 45 Kg category, Bikram of Assam prevailed over Vishal of  UP, Rathwa of Gujrat beat Roshan of Vidhya Bharti, Umakant of Manipur defeated M Ismail of Telangana and Manish of Jharkhand beat Srinawas of Maharashtra.
