Good governance Govt’s sole aim: Lal Singh

JAMMU, Jan 19:  Minister for Forest Environment and Ecology, Choudhary Lal Singh today visited Aik Depot of State Forest Corporation, directing officers to work for its fencing and beautification.
The Minister said that such assets should be taken care of well and directed officers to launch immediate fencing and beautification of the depot.
He said that officers should work in close coordination for giving better results to the people. “People should get better results from us.  They have high expectations from us and from this Government,” he added.
“We are aiming to give good governance with accountability on every level of the administration,” he added.
The Minister also took stock of the fencing and plantation alongside National Highway under Green Highways Project.
The Minister was accompanied by Chairman Pollution Control Board, Ravi Kaiser, Chief Wildlife Warden, Suresh Chugg, Chief Conservator Forests, Jammu, Roshan Jaggi, Directors and other senior officials of the Forest and its allied Departments.
