New Delhi, Dec 2: Gold in the national capital on Thursday declined by Rs 280 to Rs 46,657 per 10 gram in line with a decline in international precious metal prices, according to HDFC Securities.
In the previous trade, the precious metal had settled at Rs 46,937 per 10 gram.
Silver, however, jumped Rs 212 to Rs 61,337 per kilogram from Rs 61,125 per kilogram in the previous trade.
In the international market, gold was trading lower at USD 1,775 per ounce and silver was flat at USD 22.33 per ounce.
“Gold prices traded weak with spot gold prices at COMEX trading 0.28 per cent down at USD 1,775 per ounce on Thursday. A firm dollar has kept bullion prices lower,” according to HDFC Securities, Senior Analyst (Commodities), Tapan Patel. (Agencies)
