MUMBAI, Apr 30: Realty firm Godrej Properties today reported 6 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 51.44 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015, on the back of higher sales.
Its net profit stood at Rs 48.34 crore in the year-ago period.
Total income rose to Rs 718.07 crore during January-March quarter of 2014-15, from Rs 435.64 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, Godrej Properties, the realty firm of the Goderj Group, said in a filing to the BSE.
During 2014-15 fiscal, the company posted a net profit of Rs 190.90 crore as against Rs 159.43 crore in the previous fiscal.
Total income rose to Rs 1,926.56 crore during 2014-15 fiscal from Rs 1,254.22 crore in the previous year.
Godrej Properties also said that its board at its meeting held today recommended a dividend of Rs 2 per share (40 per cent) for the year ended March 31, 2015. (PTI)
