SRINAGAR, May 5: The General Officer Commanding (GOC) White Knight Corps Lieutenant General P K Mishra accompanied by GOC Counter-Insurgency Force (CIF) Delta Major General A P S Bal today visited general area of Basantgarh in Udhampur district to assess the current security dynamics and ongoing operational preparedness.
The Army commander was apprised of the existing security layout, force disposition, surveillance mechanisms and contingency responses, with focused discussions on optimising the operational framework and reinforcing multi-agency synergy for a stable hinterland.
During the visits, the GOC White Knight Corps commended the troops for their high morale, professionalism, and dedication to safeguarding the nation under challenging conditions.
