JAMMU, Jan 5: General Officer Commanding (GOC) Tiger Division, Major General Gaurav Gautam today called on Director General of Police, Dilbag Singh here at Police Headquarters.
As per press statement, the top army and police officials discussed emerging challenges in countering the new tactics of the Pakistani terrorists including drone dropping of arms, ammunition and drugs.
“They also discussed various other important aspects pertaining to the prevailing security scenario in Jammu region,” the press statement read.
During the meeting, the statement said, the DGP lauded the synergy between different forces in foiling the ill intentions of the Pakistani terrorists.
He also stressed for sharing of intelligence between the forces on a regular basis. The top cop also laid emphasis on enhancing the cooperation between the officers of the forces for better results.
