JAMMU, Sept 23: Lt Gen A K Sharma, General Officer Commanding White Knight Corps flagged off Communication & Information Technology based capacity building tour for fifteen Engineering students and two professors of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Rajouri from Nagrota.
The aim of the tour is to expose these students to the advancements made and best practices in the field of Communications and Information Technology in other States of India.
The eight days tour is scheduled from September 22, 2017 to October 3, 2017 to Mumbai envisages training capsule at Reliance Jio Data Centre and visits to Naval Dockyard, Dhiru Bhai Ambani Knowledge City, Larsen & Toubro, Indian Institute of Technology, Powai, Star TV Complex, Nehru Science Centre and Film city, apart from local sightseeing in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
The General Officer interacted with the students and wished the participants all the success in their academic pursuit. He further coaxed the students to pursue academic excellence for an all round development of the area.
