NEW DELHI, May 4: GMR Infrastructure today said its parent firm GMR Holdings has pledged 14.41 per cent stake in the company with IL&FS Trust Company (ITCL).
In a BSE filing, GMR Infrastructure said: “76,29,71,000 equity shares of GMR Infrastructure held by GMR Holdings have been pledged with ITCL in capacity as a Debenture Trustee to secure the issue of Non Convertible Debentures (NCD) issued by GMR Holdings.”
With this, ITCL’s stake in GMR Infrastructure rose to 33.25 per cent or 1,58,42,18,000 shares, it added.
As of April 18, GMR Holdings, a promoter of GMR Infrastructure, held 51.97 per cent stake in the firm.
Shares of the company today at 1400 hrs were trading at Rs 15.89 apiece, up by 7.36 per cent on the BSE. (PTI)
