JAMMU, Feb 19: Principal & Dean GMC Jammu Dr. Sunanda Raina today conducted a meeting with residents of the hostel both Under Graduate & Post Graduate boys hostels to assess if the students were facing any problems during the period of curfew.
Wardens of the hostels were also present in the meeting along with the caterers responsible for providing food to the students. She ensured that the required stock of food material is in store. The same update was taken from the warden of the Girls Hostel GMC Jammu as well.
SHO Bakshi Nagar was also called for the meeting and advised by the Principal to give special security cover and attention to the boys and the girls hostels.
The students were advised by the Principal to maintain communal harmony and to stand by each other in this hour. She said they should not believe in any rumour and if conveyed to them they should clarify with the Principal personally.
She further directed them to avoid any confrontation within the hostel or outside to maintain the dignity of the institution. “Strict disiplinary action will be initiated if the students wre found violating the rules,” Dr Raina said.
